Kamali'i O Ke Kai - x were led to their 34.35 point victory by a 31.90 point effort from Ray Rice, who beat the Detroit Lions defense for 166 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 53 receiving yards. With this performance, Rice was the number 5 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 14. They also got help from a 25.70 point effort from Frank Gore, who beat the Arizona Cardinals defense for 167 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 10 receiving yards.
"We're tickled to death," Kamali'i O Ke Kai - x coach John Couf said.
Chosen One - x were helped out in a losing cause by a 25.90 point effort from Reggie Bush, who snuck past the Atlanta Falcons defense for 33 rushing yards in addition to 46 receiving yards. With this performance, Bush was the number 6 ranked running back for week 14. They also got help from a 19.10 point effort from Miles Austin, who snuck past the San Diego Chargers defense for 71 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.
"We didn't get the job done," Chosen One - x coach Jared Darling said.
Compounding the issue, Chosen One - x could have scored 172.85 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Jared Darling left key players like Hakeem Nicks and his corresponding 21.00 points on the bench.
This brings the record for Kamali'i O Ke Kai - x to 9-2, and drops Chosen One - x to a record of 7-4.
