Berzerkers - x were led to their 8.55 point victory by a 26.60 point effort from Drew Brees, who got by the Atlanta Falcons defense for 296 passing yards and 3 passing TDs. With this performance, Brees was the number 2 ranked quarterback for week 14. They also got help from a 20.00 point effort from Fred Davis, who snuck past the Oakland Raiders defense for 50 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs.
"It was a workman-like effort," Berzerkers - x coach Charlie B. said.
Mad Hatters - x were helped out in a losing cause by a 23.25 point effort from Donovan McNabb, who got by the New York Giants defense for 275 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 5 rushing yards. With this performance, McNabb was the number 5 ranked quarterback for week 14. They also got help from a 20.50 point effort from Wes Welker, who beat the Carolina Panthers defense for 105 receiving yards.
"These guys have nothing to be ashamed of," Mad Hatters - x coach Perry Rotella said.
Adding salt to the wound, Mad Hatters - x could have scored 146.75 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Perry Rotella left key players like Eli Manning and his corresponding 33.35 points on the bench.
Berzerkers - x took advantage of their schedule this week, as their point total would have gone for a loss against 7 out of 10 other potential opponents in week 14. This brings the record for Berzerkers - x to 5-6, and drops Mad Hatters - x to a record of 9-2.
