Matzo Marinara - x were led to their 25.75 point victory by a 28.70 point effort from Adrian Peterson, who got by the Cincinnati Bengals defense for 97 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 40 receiving yards. With this performance, Peterson was the number 4 ranked running back for week 14. They also got help from a 27.30 point effort from Dallas Clark, who snuck past the Denver Broncos defense for 43 receiving yards and 3 receiving TDs.
"We weren't going to just roll over," Matzo Marinara - x coach Craig Schwartz said.
Home 'n' 2 - x were helped out in a losing cause by a 22.70 point effort from Thomas Jones, who got by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense for 99 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs. They also got help from a 21.95 point effort from Kyle Orton, who got by the Indianapolis Colts defense for 277 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 11 rushing yards.
"The best team won today," Home 'n' 2 - x coach Dale Grizer said.
Adding salt to the wound, Home 'n' 2 - x could have scored 162.95 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Dale Grizer left key players like Hakeem Nicks and his corresponding 21.00 points on the bench.
This brings the record for Matzo Marinara - x to 8-3, and drops Home 'n' 2 - x to a record of 11-0.
