(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 14, 2009) In a week 14 RotoBowl League 28 classic, Lunchbox - x squeaked by a tough Bada-Bling team by a score of 121.55 to 120.40, extending the losing streak for Bada-Bling to 6 games.
Lunchbox - x were led to their 1.15 point victory by a 20.35 point effort from Tony Romo, who got by the San Diego Chargers defense for 249 passing yards and 2 passing TDs. They also got help from a 20.00 point effort from Kevin Boss, who snuck past the Philadelphia Eagles defense for 70 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.
"Our fans were the 12th man today," Lunchbox - x coach Jim Panella said.
Bada-Bling were helped out in a losing cause by a 28.40 point effort from Ryan Grant, who beat the Chicago Bears defense for 137 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 7 receiving yards. With this performance, Grant was the number 5 ranked running back for week 14. They also got help from a 25.90 point effort from Reggie Bush, who snuck past the Atlanta Falcons defense for 33 rushing yards in addition to 46 receiving yards.
"Turnovers killed us," Bada-Bling coach Gabriel Scarpa / Joe Curcio said.
Adding salt to the wound, Bada-Bling could have scored 140.90 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Gabriel Scarpa / Joe Curcio left key players like Chris Wells and his corresponding 17.30 points on the bench.
This brings the record for Lunchbox - x to 7-4, and drops Bada-Bling to a record of 9-2.
