(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 14, 2009) In a week 14 RotoBowl League 30 classic, Team Ike - x embarrassed a hapless Kiss Da Baby - x team by a score of 183.50 to 126.15, silencing a partisan crowd of 69,165.
Team Ike - x were led to their 57.35 point victory by a 39.60 point effort from Chris Johnson, who beat the St. Louis Rams defense for 117 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 69 receiving yards. With this performance, Johnson was the number 3 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 14. They also got help from a 29.80 point effort from DeSean Jackson, who tore apart the New York Giants defense for 178 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.
"We played our hearts out," Team Ike - x coach Rich Novack said.
Kiss Da Baby - x were helped out in a losing cause by a 31.90 point effort from Ray Rice, who beat the Detroit Lions defense for 166 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 53 receiving yards. With this performance, Rice was the number 5 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 14. They also got help from a 20.35 point effort from Tony Romo, who got by the San Diego Chargers defense for 249 passing yards and 2 passing TDs.
"You've got to hand it to them," Kiss Da Baby - x coach Destin Kernizan/Joe Bennett said.
This brings the record for Team Ike - x to 7-4, and drops Kiss Da Baby - x to a record of 5-6.
