The 10,000 Mangled Baby Ducks! - x were led to their 33.15 point victory by a 28.40 point effort from Ryan Grant, who beat the Chicago Bears defense for 137 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 7 receiving yards. With this performance, Grant was the number 5 ranked running back for week 14. They also got help from a 20.50 point effort from Wes Welker, who beat the Carolina Panthers defense for 105 receiving yards.
"We snatched victory out of the jaws of defeat," The 10,000 Mangled Baby Ducks! - x coach Gerald Markey said.
BP 2 were helped out in a losing cause by a 17.00 point effort from Jay Feely, who snuck past the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense for 4 field goals made and 2 extra points. With this performance, Feely was the number 2 ranked place kicker for week 14. They also got help from a 16.60 point effort from Joseph Addai, who snuck past the Denver Broncos defense for 67 rushing yards in addition to 49 receiving yards.
"We didn't get the big breaks today," BP 2 coach Bill Poulakas said.
This brings the record for The 10,000 Mangled Baby Ducks! - x to 9-2, and drops BP 2 to a record of 8-3.
