(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 14, 2009) In a week 14 RotoBowl League 23 battle, The Usual Suspects - x embarrassed a hapless Toxic - x team by a score of 177.20 to 117.75, silencing a partisan crowd of 67,949.
The Usual Suspects - x were led to their 59.45 point victory by a 53.00 point effort from Brandon Marshall, who tore apart the Indianapolis Colts defense for 200 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs. With this performance, Marshall was the number 1 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 14. They also got help from a 20.50 point effort from Wes Welker, who beat the Carolina Panthers defense for 105 receiving yards.
"This win is for all the fans," The Usual Suspects - x coach Michael Devlin said.
Toxic - x were helped out in a losing cause by a 25.05 point effort from Matt Schaub, who tore apart the Seattle Seahawks defense for 365 passing yards and 2 passing TDs. With this performance, Schaub was the number 3 ranked quarterback for week 14. They also got help from a 22.70 point effort from Thomas Jones, who got by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense for 99 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs.
"Turnovers killed us," Toxic - x coach James Moran said.
This brings the record for The Usual Suspects - x to 9-2, and drops Toxic - x to a record of 8-3.
