| 1. | How do I use the Franchise Information page? Answer: The franchise information report will show you all details about the selected franchises, including: Franchise name, owner name, phone/fax contact information, franchise URL, franchise logo, franchise owner email address, division and conference, current roster, transaction history, and league fees accumulated year-to-date, among other information. Note that personally identifying information, such as email address, phone/fax numbers, etc., will only be display to people who are logged into your league, for privacy reasons. Leagues that limit waivers on a per-week and/or per-season basis also have the corresponding totals displayed.
This report also contains a 'My Options' section.
| • | If you're logged in as an owner, and see that 'My Options' row for your own franchise, it will have links to do all things that are currently under the 'For Owners' menu. |
| • | If you're logged in as an owner, and see that 'My Options' row for another franchise, it will have a link to propose a trade with that other franchise. |
| • | If you're logged in as a commissioner, the 'My Options' row will contain all options under the 'For Owners' menu for each franchise. This also has the added benefit for the commissioner to allow management of just one franchise at a time if using the new, javascript menus. For example, if the commissioner went to the 'My Options' row for franchise #1 and clicked on basic franchise setup, he could just change the franchise setup parameters and email the password to that owner for only that one franchise (rather than all franchises if he used the basic franchise setup option under the 'For Owners' menu). |

| 2. | How do I set up my franchise? Answer: Once you have been invited to your league by your league commissioner and have logged in for the first time via the password that was emailed to you it is time to set up and personalize your league.
Begin by going to your For Owners > Franchise Setup.
Here you will see four Setup options at the top of the page: Basic, Contact Info, Customize, Wireless, Home Page and Skin.
Basic Setup
Highlight the Basic Setup tab and you can do the following:
- Change your Franchise Name
- Enter your Owner Name
- Change your Franchise Password
- Change or Add your Email Address
You MUST click the "Save Franchise Information" button once complete to apply your changes.
Change Password
Highlight the Basic Setup tab and you can do the following:
- Change your Franchise Password
- Confirm Password
You MUST click the "Save Franchise Information" button once complete to apply your changes.
Customize
- To personalize your franchise you can also add or create a:
Franchise Home Page URL, A Franchise Logo that will appear on your Franchise Information Page, Franchise Icon that will appear in the League Standings Report or a Franchise Sound Clip.
- Play audio clips on league pages? - If your commissioner has defined a League Sound Clip when accessing the home page you can turn it off by setting this feature to "No".
- Display "League Reminders" on the top of league home pages? - Enable this option to be notified of the following:
- Pending Trades
- Reminder to Submit Lineup
- Reminder to vote in any Polls that you have not voted in.
- Franchise Abbreviation - Define an abbreviation that will appear on all wireless reports as well as any Grid View of the League Reports instead of your franchise name.
- Use "Advanced Editor" on league type-in boxes? - This will allow you to write in html format when writing to the league.
- Time Zone - Choose the time zone in which you are situated in. This is important for lineup submissions, waivers etc.
- Optionally, you can add any additional notes to your Franchise Information Page for other owners to view.
You MUST click the "Save Franchise Information" button once complete to apply your changes.
Contact Info
- Under this tab you can add additional information, such as alternate contact information, phone numbers and addresses. This information can only be viewed by other members of your league that are logged in.
- Optionally you can add your Yahoo Messenger ID, AOL IM or ICQ ID to your account.
- Facebook - To have league status updates posted to your facebook account you can click the link located here.
- Send Email As - Define the type of email you would like sent from MyFantasyLeague.com (HTML or Plain Text).
- Send Email For - Check the boxes next to the reports and updates that you would like sent to you.
You MUST click the "Save Franchise Information" button once complete to apply your changes.
Wireless
Use this screen to define your Cell Phone number and various wireless settings.
- Cell - Enter your Cell Phone Number
- Cell Phone Carrier - Optionally you can choose your cell phone carrier from the drop down box. If you enter your cell phone number and your cell phone carrier you can choose to receive text message updates.
- Allow my leaguemates to see my cell phone number? - Disable this option if you do not wish for other owners that are logged into your league to view your cell number. Note that only owners logged into your league are otherwise able to view any of your personal information. This feature would prevent even these owners from seeing your number.
- Send Text Messages For: Check the boxes to receive Text updates for the following:
- Live Scoring updates at 3pm, 4:30pm, 6pm, 7:30pm and 10pm ET on Sundays.
- Draft Status Update
- Trade Proposals
- Check this checkbox to send a validation code to the above cell phone number. - This option will need to be checked in order to validate the cell phone number prior to receiving Text Messages. Please see the Wireless FAQ's for details.
- Enter Validation Code - Enter the code received here to be able to receive text messages from MFL.
You MUST click the "Save Franchise Information" button once complete to apply your changes.
Home Page Setup
Use this page to set up your Home Page modules and Tabs should your commissioner permit this on the Setup > Abilities Setup.
- From the list of Available Modules, the left hand column, choose what module you would like to include on your league home page by highlighting that module.
- If adding a new column, first select the module "New Column" from the list of Available Modules and click the Add To List> button. Next, you will be asked how wide (as a percentage) you would like the new column to be.
- Click on the Add To List > button to add to your Current Modules. Alternately if you choose to remove a module from your Current Modules you can highlight that module and choose the
- For each additional module that you wish to add repeat steps 1 through 3 above.
- Once all modules are added to your Current List you may use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to change the order for appearance on your Home Page.
- Once you have arranged your Currently Used Modules you MUST click the Save Home Page Setup in order to apply your changes.
NOTE: There are two options on this page should you make to many adjustments and wish to start over. You can choose to "Reset to System Default" or "Reset to Commissioner View" to bring your home page back to how it originally was defined.
NOTE: After you have saved your modules to your home page you can Drag and Drop the modules on the home page to adjust the layout.
Skin
If given the option by the commissioner to customize your home page appearance owners are able to choose from a wide variety of league Skins. These Skins specify an entire look and feel for your league's pages - including colors & images. Click here to see a table of currently available skins.
You can preview the skins image by clicking on the image itself on the skins page (this does not actually change the league to the skin, but only allow for a preview of what to expect).
Click on the button next to the skin in which you would like applied to your league pages.
When finished, you MUST click on the "Select a Skin" button in order to apply your changes.

| 3. | I want to resequence my franchises, assigning them different franchise numbers - what's the best way to do that? Answer: In general, we strongly suggest that you do not try to resequence your franchises, as that not only takes a lot of time to do and can cause a lot of problems with your league if it's done incorrectly, the vast majority of the time it's not necessary. The franchise number is just an identifier, it has no function on the site other than to uniquely identify one franchise from the next.
Two common reasons for resequencing franchises are:
1 ) You'd like league reports to appear in a specific order - like, you'd like the rosters report to display first franchise #10, and then franchise #2, and so on. To achieve that, simply use the For Commissioners > Setup > Custom Franchise Order Setup page, and indicate your custom franchise order there, and most league reports will be re-ordered by this new custom franchise order.
2 ) You'd like your league schedule to be arranged based on your "franchise numbers". To do that, you can use the For Commissioners > Setup > Fantasy Schedule Setup > Rearrange Franchises In Fantasy Schedule page, and change the franchises in your fantasy schedule that way.

| 4. | How do I Add Icons & Logos? Answer: Icons and Logos can be added in the For Owners > Franchise Setup - Customize. Icons will appear on the League Standing Reports and Logos will appear on the owners Franchise Information report.
To add an Icon or Logo you can choose one of the pre-defined icons, one of our new, high-resolution helmets, one of our classic helmets, create your own helmet or upload your own file to be used (note the uploaded file must be a GIF or JPEG and less than 200kB in size).
Note: On the For Commissioner > Setup > Icons Setup the option for owners must be “As Specified by owners on Franchise Setup Page” chosen in order for the owners to add their own icons.
If your Image is Greater than 300kB
If your image is greater than 300kB then you will need to store this sound on your web server or a remote location that offers web space (note that most ISP’s that offer free email also offer free web space). If you upload your image here you can then go to the For Owners > Franchise Setup - Customize and define the URL here.

| 5. | What is the difference between a franchise icon and the franchise logo? Answer: The franchise "Icon" is the image that appears on your Standings report/module whereas the franchise "Logo" is the image that appears on the Franchise Information report.

| 6. | One of my owners is trying to setup his information on the Franchise Setup page and he gets a message "Commissioner has revoked your rights". How do I give him his rights back? Answer: As commissioner, go to For Commissioner > Setup > Abilities Setup to enable the owners rights by checking all relevant boxes next to the owners name.

| 7. | How do I Submit Waiver Requests for my owners as commissioner? Answer: In the event that you as commissioner need to submit a waiver request for an owner you may do so by going to the Reports > Franchise > Franchise Information (or selecting the owner from the standings if chosen to take you to their Franchise Information Report). Here you can choose from the list of their options to “Submit Waiver Request Picks” for that owner.

| 8. | How do I make my League private? Answer: To make your league private you have two settings found on the Setup > Reports & Other Settings screen.
Here you can choose to not allow league reports to be accessible to guests, whereby anyone not logged into the league is still able to access your home page, but not the Reports or For Owners menu.
To not allow your home page to be viewed by guests, but rather only view the log in screen when accessing your league you can choose the settings to not make the league home page accessible to guests.
