.Terrell Owens (RotoWire) Owens had a monster day in Sunday's loss to the Jaguars, catching nine balls for 197 yards and a touchdown, the longest offensive play in Bills history. Analysis: Given that Owens had a 26/366/1 line for the entire season prior to Sunday, this definitely constitutes a breakout performance. The Bills targeted him all afternoon, and we'd imagine new coach Perry Fewell will keep feeding Owens so long as he can keep getting open and doesn't start dropping numerous balls again. On his Twitter account, Owens was offering a trip and tickets to Buffalo's next game if anyone predicted his stats for the Jacksonville game. Let's just say we didn't hit the 9/197/1 line.29 minutes
.Jason Campbell (RotoWire) Campbell completed 24 of 37 passes for 256 yards and one interception in Week 11. The pick came on a tipped pass the end the game. Analysis: The offensive line struggled once again to provide time for Campbell in the pocket. Many of his passes were quick drops and short passes. He faces a tough Eagles defense in Week 12.46 minutes
.Owens has huge game Week 11 (TheHuddle) The Associated Press reports Buffalo Bills WR Terrell Owens caught nine passes for 197 yards and one touchdown in Week 11. He also set a franchise record with a 98-yard touchdown reception. Analysis: Owens finally broke out of his season-long drought to post numbers that fantasy owners are accustomed to seeing from the talented wideout. Buffalo has a new coach and a new offensive philosophy which could make a difference for fantasy owners who have Owens on their roster for the playoff push in fantasy leagues this year.48 minutes
.Rinehart has broken fibula (FFChamps) According to the Washington Post, Washington Redskins' guard Chad Rinehart broke his fibula in the team's 7-6 loss to the Cowboys. Analysis: The Redskins' offensive line is awful. It just got even worse. Edwin Williams will likely be forced into the starting lineup with the loss of Rinehart, and Redskin fans and fantasy owners can probably look forward to more single-digit scoring outputs like today's masterpiece.2 hours
.Willis McGahee (RotoWire) McGahee had six carries for 25 yards and caught one pass for seven yards in Sunday's loss to Indianapolis. Analysis: The game was close throughout, so it's not like McGahee was used in some type of blowout situation. McGahee hasn't been used much recently and while it's nice to see him involved again, he did not take advantage of a golden opportunity, getting stuffed on two straight plays from the goal line during the opening series of the fourth quarter. Meanwhile, Ray Rice put up his usual stats, totaling 135 yards on 27 touches. McGahee has been worked back into the rotation a bit, but unless something happens to Rice, McGahee's upside is limited.4 hours
.Willie Parker (RotoWire) Parker carried six times for 24 yards and caught one pass for 11 yards in Sunday's game against the Chiefs. Analysis: Offensive Coordinator Bruce Arians said Parker still had a role in the offense and made sure to get Parker more involved than he had been in the prior three games. Those who have Rashard Mendenhall on their roster still have no need to worry though as Mendenhall continues to prove he is simply the better back right now (he had 116 total yards and a touchdown against KC).5 hours
.Dallas Clark (RotoWire) Clark had just one catch for three yards in Sunday's win at Baltimore, but it went for a touchdown. Analysis: Clark has been fairly quiet over the last couple of games, a sign that he is getting a lot of attention from opposing defenses.6 hours
.Peyton Manning (RotoWire) Manning threw for 299 yards with one touchdown and a pair of interceptions in Sunday's 17-15 win at Baltimore. Analysis: While Manning didn't have his best game statistically, he made his fair share of big plays, including a huge third-down-and-one conversion to Reggie Wayne late in the game to ice the win. Manning has thrown for 3,171 yards through 10 games and is still on pace to challenge Dan Marino's NFL record for most passing yards in a season (5,084 set in 1984).6 hours
.Campbell plays well in loss (Rotoworld) Jason Campbell completed 24-of-37 passes for 256 yards with no touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's loss to the Cowboys. Analysis: Campbell actually played relatively well in this one, as he broke the pocket and made some plays. He showed nice touch on swing passes to Rock Cartwright and surprisingly only took one sack. Cartwright has a difficult matchup at Philadelphia next week.6 hours
.Colts | Manning passes for nearly 300 yards Week 11 (KFFL) The Associated Press reports Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning went 22-for-31 for 299 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Week 11. 6 hours
.Bills | Owens has huge game Week 11 (KFFL) The Associated Press reports Buffalo Bills WR Terrell Owens caught nine passes for 197 yards and one touchdown in Week 11. He also set a franchise record with a 98-yard touchdown reception. 7 hours
.McGahee gets the goal-line carries (Rotoworld) Willis McGahee rushed six times for 25 yards in Sunday's loss to the Ravens. Analysis: McGahee got the call on two crucial goal-line carries and didn't execute either. It's unclear if he'll retain that job going forward, but we're guessing he will. Other than that, McGahee briefly spelled Rice on a couple series but is still the clear backup. He's a handcuff.7 hours
.Clark taken out of the game by Ravens (Rotoworld) Dallas Clark was held to one catch for three yards Sunday, although that catch went for a touchdown. Analysis: Clark's made his one grab worth it, as he spectacularly caught an overthrown ball with one hand in the corner of the end zone. Clark was strangely quiet after that though as Peyton Manning used backup tight end Tom Santi as his main underneath target. Expect a bounce back against the Texans next week.7 hours
.Colts stay perfect with another narrow w... (Rotoworld) Peyton Manning completed 22-of-31 yards for 299 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's win over the Ravens. Analysis: Manning wasn't anywhere near his best, but it was just barely enough. The Ravens made a point of taking Dallas Clark out of the game so Manning was forced to go to the much more unreliable Tom Santi. Manning will be an elite option against the Texans next week.7 hours
.Owens racks up 197 yards, TD in Week 11 (Rotoworld) Terrell Owens caught nine passes for 197 yards and a touchdown but the Bills couldn't pull out a win against the Jags in Week 11. Analysis: Owens accounted for over half of the Bills' total yardage, which is nearly unheard of at the wide receiver position. He was QB Ryan Fitzpatrick's go-to guy from the start and hauled in a massive 98-yard touchdown in the third quarter. It was the longest pass play in Bills history.7 hours
.Bengals inactives for Week 11 (FFChamps) The Cincinnati Bengals have announced the following players as inactive for today's game against the Oakland Raiders: RB Fui Vakapuna, T Andre Smith, QB Jordan Palmer, OLB Keith Rivers, RB Cedric Benson, WR Jerome Simpson, G Evan Mathis, and TE Chase Coffman. Analysis: Benson is out, so look for Bernard Scott to get the start. Larry Johnson may get some carries today as well, because he has had lots of success against the Raiders as a former Kansas City Chief, so don't be surprised if LJ gets some action.8 hours
.Bengals | Benson inactive for Week 11 (KFFL) NFL.com reports Cincinnati Bengals RB Cedric Benson (hip) has been declared inactive for Week 11. 8 hours
.Benson inactive; rookie Bernard Scott st... (Rotoworld) Cedric Benson is inactive for Sunday's game against the Raiders. Analysis: Rookie Bernard Scott will start with Larry Johnson potentially acting as a change of pace. L.J. is unlikely to see double-digit touches, however. The Bengals' other inactives are third QB Jordan Palmer, WR Jerome Simpson, OT Andre Smith, OG Evan Mathis, FB Fui Vakapuna, TE Chase Coffman, and LB Keith Rivers. Brandon Johnson will start at weak-side linebacker.9 hours
.Seahawks inactives for Week 11 (FFChamps) The Seattle Seahawks have declared the following players as inactive for today's game against the Minnesota Vikings: RB Julius Jones, CB Josh Wilson, OL Mike Gibson, OL Mansfield Wrotto, TE Cameron Morrah, DT Craig Terrill, DE Derek Walker and QB Mike Teel. Analysis: With Jones still recovering from his bruised lung, Justin Forsett will get the start in Minnesota. Not exactly a favorable matchup for the young man, but he should get plenty of touches today, and represents a flex p... (More)11 hours
.Julius Jones among Seahawks' inactives (Rotoworld) Seahawks declared RB Julius Jones, CB Josh Wilson, OL Mike Gibson, OL Mansfield Wrotto, TE Cameron Morrah, DT Craig Terrill, DE Derek Walker and QB Mike Teel inactive for Week 11 against the Vikings. Analysis: Jones was ruled out earlier in the week, leaving Justin Forsett as the starting running back in a very tough matchup.12 hours
.McGahee expected to see playing time Week 11 (TheHuddle) The Carroll County Times, reports Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said there is a good chance RB Willis McGahee will see some playing time in Week 11. 'We like Willis,' Harbaugh said. 'Willis is a very good player. I think there's a good chance you'll see a lot of Willis this weekend.' Analysis: McGahee started the season on fire but then has disappeared the last few weeks much to the dismay of his fantasy owners. Baltimore is clearly using Ray Rice as their feature back which has limited the opportunities for McGahee so it would be hard to imagine any major changes in strategy at this poi... (More)1 day
.Ravens | McGahee expected to see playing time Week 11 (KFFL) Aaron Wilson, of the Carroll County Times, reports Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said there is a good chance RB Willis McGahee will see some playing time in Week 11. "We like Willis," Harbaugh said. "Willis is a very good player. I think there's a good chance you'll see a lot of Willis this weekend." 1 day
.McGahee getting back in the mix? (Rotoworld) Ravens coach John Harbaugh said he plans on using Willis McGahee this week. Analysis: "Willis is a very good player. I think there's a good chance you'll see a lot of Willis this weekend," Harbaugh said. McGahee had 13 carries last week while Ray Rice had 20, but we're not worried about Rice's workload. Harbaugh has said before he wants to get Willis more work and it hasn't happened. McGahee remains a strict handcuff to Rice.1 day
.J. Jones misses practice Friday (TheHuddle) Seattle Seahawks RB Julius Jones (lung) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 20. He has been ruled out for Week 11. Analysis: RB Justin Forsett will get the start for Seattle and should be considered by fantasy owners as a flex player for Week 11. Forsett has looked good at times this season and could make it hard on Julius Jones to get his starting gig back if he can shine as the Seahawks are likely anticipating. Forsett is a solid sleeper candidate for the second half of the season and the stretch run to fantasy league playoffs.2 days
.Garcon questionable, but practices fully (FFChamps) Indianapolis Colts' wide receiver Pierre Garcon is listed as questionable to face the Baltimore Ravens in Week 11 because of his sore ankle, but practiced without restrictions again on Friday. Analysis: All indications are that Garcon is pretty much a lock to play this weekend against a once-feared Ravens' defense that will have a hard time stopping Peyton Manning and a presently-feared Colts' offense. Garcon practiced fully the last couple of days, and appears to be working through the ankle injury that kept him out of practice earlier in ... (More)2 days
.Cedric Benson doubtful for Sunday (FFToolbox) Earlier Friday, Cincinnati Bengals running back Cedric Benson that he was still a game-time decision, despite not practicing all week (including Friday). He may still be right. As in, it probably won't be until game time that he is ruled out for Sunday's contest at Oakland. Benson suffered a hip injury last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers. If Benson is out, Larry Johnson would make his Bengals debut, but Bernard Scott is expected to start against the Raiders, and More)2 days

.Benson doubtful (FFChamps) Bengals running back Cedric Benson told the Cincinnati Enquirer Friday morning that he will be a game-time decision for Sunday's game at Oakland even though he is officially listed as doubtful on the Bengals injury report. Benson has not practiced all week with a hip injury. Analysis: If Benson lands on the inactive list, plan on Bernard Scott making the start with Brian Leonard backing him up. Newly acquired running back, Larry Johnson would then be third on the depth chart for ... (More)2 days
.Benson doubtful for Week 11 (TheHuddle) The Cincinnati Enquirer reports Cincinnati Bengals RB Cedric Benson (hip) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 20. He is listed as doubtful for Week 11. Analysis: Hopefully you picked up Bernard Scott if you're a Benson owner. Scott will share carries with Larry Johnson and Brian Leonard, but he's still worth serious consideration as a Fantasy start against Oakland's porous run defense.2 days
.Benson doubtful (Rotoworld) Cedric Benson (hip) is officially listed as doubtful for Week 11. Analysis: Benson missed his third straight practice Friday and will be among the Bengals' inactives at Oakland. Rookie Bernard Scott will draw the start.2 days
.Bengals | Benson doubtful for Week 11 (KFFL) Joe Reedy, of The Cincinnati Enquirer, reports Cincinnati Bengals RB Cedric Benson (hip) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 20. He is listed as doubtful for Week 11. 2 days
.Cedric Benson (RotoWire) Benson (hip) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Raiders, the Bengals' official site reports. Analysis: Benson has called himself a game-time decision, but the doubtful tag suggests that he will very likely be out Sunday. Look for Bernard Scott to start Sunday, with Brian Leonard and newcomer Larry Johnson in the mix as well.2 days
.Benson says he will be a game-time decision (TheHuddle) The Cincinnati Enquirer reports Cincinnati Bengals RB Cedric Benson (hip) said he will be a game-time decision for Week 11. Analysis: As we've stated before, there's a good chance the Bengals will choose to err on the side of caution this week with Benson, and rest him in what should be a win against the Raiders. Bernard Scott will probably get the bulk of the carries against one of the worst rushing defenses in the NFL.2 days
.Cedric Benson (RotoWire) Benson, whose his sore hip muscle kept him out of practice for a third straight day Friday, says he's a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Raiders, the Bengals' official site reports. Analysis: If Benson is unable to play, look for Bernard Scott to start, with Brian Leonard and Larry Johnson -- who has a good shot to be active if Benson is scratched -- also in the mix against the Raiders in Week 11.2 days
.Fred Taylor not back to practice (Rotoworld) Fred Taylor (ankle surgery) still has not resumed practicing. Analysis: It's impressive that the Pats have been able to keep him off injured reserve so long. Taylor hasn't played or practiced in seven weeks and remains without a timetable for return. He's deservedly on most fantasy waiver wires.2 days
.Cedric Benson misses practice again (Rotoworld) Cedric Benson (hip) missed Bengals practice again on Friday. Analysis: This is a near-certain sign that Benson won't be active at Oakland, and he may not even make the trip. Bernard Scott will start in the favorable matchup.2 days
.Cedric Benson (RotoWire) Benson (hip) said that he'll be a game-time decision on Sunday prior to Friday's practice, Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports. Analysis: If Benson is unable to play, look for Bernard Scott and Larry Johnson to likely share the carries against the Raiders in Week 11.2 days
.Willie Parker (RotoWire) Offensive Coordinator Bruce Arians said Parker still has a role in the ground attack, reports the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Analysis: Arians hinted Parker may have been involved more against the Bengals if Rashard Mendenhall hadn't received such a low number of carries (13). As well, Mewelde Moore came in on a series designated for Parker when the team decided to go no-huddle. Regardless, the starting job belongs to Mendenhall. Parker may see a few more touches if the rotation goes as planned or if the Steelers are up big in a game, but it's not enough to warrant considering him for fantasy purposes at this point.2 days
.Cedric Benson: I'm still a game-day deci... (Rotoworld) Cedric Benson (hip) said Friday morning that he remains a game-day decision for this Sunday. Analysis: Benson has yet to practice this week, and signs are pointing toward the Bengals holding their workhorse out in a game that should come easily with Bernard Scott and Brian Leonard holding down the fort. Larry Johnson says he's playing Sunday but doesn't know how much. We expect it to be very little. Check back Friday afternoon for an official update on Benson's status.2 days

.J. Jones misses practice Thursday (TheHuddle) Seattle Seahawks RB Julius Jones (lung) did not participate in practice Thursday, Nov. 19. He has been ruled out for Week 11. Analysis: Jones will be replaced in the lineup by the rookie Justin Forsett who has looked good sharing carries early on in the season. Forsett had gradually been seeing an increase in his opportunities over the last couple of games which could mean that he could see an expanded role in the offense even when Jones is ready to return.3 days
.Benson unlikely to play (FFChamps) Bengals running back Cedric Benson was unable to practice again on Thursday, making him unlikely to play in this weekend's game against the Raiders according to a report on NFL.com. Benson is nursing a strained abductor muscle. Meanwhile Larry Johnson continued to get a heavy workload in practice this week and could reportedly see a lot of snaps in his first game with the Bengals. Analysis: Fantasy owners should have a Plan B in place by now in the event Benson is unable to play. It would have been a great matchup for Benson, making his lik... (More)3 days

.Cedric Benson (RotoWire) Benson (hip) is unlikely to play on Sunday against the Raiders after missing Thursday's practice, a league source told NFL.com reports. Analysis: This seems like the prudent route for the Bengals. That said, this came from a league source, not the Bengals themselves, so check in Friday for what hopefully will be a more official verdict.3 days
.Report: Benson likely out for Raiders ga... (Rotoworld) According to NFL.com's Jason LaCanfora, Cedric Benson (hip) is unlikely to play against the Raiders this week after missing a second straight practice Thursday. Analysis: Benson's teammates have also said they would be surprised if he plays. LaCanfora's source says Larry Johnson has received plenty of practice reps and could see a "significant role" at Oakland. We remain skeptical that LJ will have much of an impact and believe that Bernard Scott is the back to start in fantasy leagues as a RB2/flex this week.3 days
.Bengals | Benson not bothered by L. Johnson addition (KFFL) Joe Reedy, of The Cincinnati Enquirer, reports Cincinnati Bengals RB Cedric Benson said the team's signing of RB Larry Johnson will not affect him in any way moving forward. "I didn't know I was supposed to be jumping out of my seat or anything. I really have no feelings about it," Benson said. "They made a move they felt they needed to do, and that's fine with me. It's not going to affect me in any kind of way. Whatever happens from here on, I can guarantee you I'll definitely be making the best of it. In most cases you hold your fate in your own hands. 49.Benson misses practice Thursday (TheHuddle) ESPNews reports Cincinnati Bengals RB Cedric Benson (hip) did not participate in practice Thursday, Nov. 19. Analysis: The Bengals may play it safe with Benson and sit him out of a game they should win against the Raiders whether or not he suits up. If he can't go, backup Bernard Scott would be a good Fantasy play against the lousy Oakland run defense. He'd probably share some carries to newly-signed Larry Johnson, but Scott should see most of the workload.3 days

.Stokley splitting time in the slot (Rotoworld) Broncos beat writer Jeff Legwold says that coach Josh McDaniels doesn't want to use Brandon Stokley on the outside and his slot snaps are getting split. Analysis: Basically, Stokley is a spot player and not worthy of fantasy consideration. Jabar Gaffney takes time away from him in the slot, and Eddie Royal plays there a little too. Stokley has gone without a catch in four of his last six games.3 days
.Bears say Hester doesn't need 60 plays (Rotoworld) Bears wide receivers coach Darryl Drake said that Devin Hester "doesn't need 60 plays." Analysis: Drake was talking about the progress of Devin Aromashodu and how he can fit into the offense. Still, it's hard to see Aromashodu cutting into Hester's playing time. Hester has been the team's most reliable receiver and appears fresh. Hester remains a decent WR2 against the Eagles' banged up secondary Sunday night. 3 days
.Benson doesn't sound thrilled with L.J. ... (Rotoworld) Cedric Benson did not sound thrilled Wednesday when asked about the Bengals' acquisition of Larry Johnson. Analysis: "I didn't know I was supposed to be jumping out of my seat or anything. I really have no feelings about it," Benson said. This kind of stuff got Benson in trouble in Chicago, where he could never co-exist with Thomas Jones. Still, Benson is the clear starter in this case and Johnson will likely be inactive as long as CedBen is healthy.3 days
.Mora declares Jones out for Week 11 (FFChamps) Seattle Seahawks' head coach Jim Mora said Wednesday that the team will be without the services of running back Julius Jones this weekend. Mora said Jones would miss this Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings, but could return in Week 12 (when the Seahawks travel to St. Louis to take on the Rams). Jones suffered a bruised lung in the team's 31-20 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Analysis: Diminutive backup Justin Forsett should see a large percentage of the snaps coming out of the backfield this weekend against the Vikes. Tough first as... (More)4 days

.Julius Jones out for week 11 (FFToolbox) As expected, Seattle Seahawks running back Julius Jones will miss this Sunday's game at Minnesota due to his bruised lung, head coach Jim Mora announced Wednesday. Mora said that Jones is feeling better and attending team meetings, and hopes that he can return for next week's game at St. Louis. Jones was injured in the first quarter of Sunday's 31-20 loss at Arizona and spent one night in a Phoenix hospital. 58.Julius Jones out Sunday, could return We... (Rotoworld) Seahawks coach Jim Mora has ruled out Julius Jones (ribs, lung) for Week 11 at Minnesota. Analysis: "He won't be available Sunday," Mora said. "We'll see how he progresses. Hopefully (he'll be back) next week. We have to be careful." Jones is averaging just 3.7 yards per carry and Minnesota ranks sixth in run defense, so he wasn't going to be productive anyway. Justin Forsett will be pulled off returns, but start the game at tailback and try to make a case for a more significant role going forward. Seattle plays the Rams in Week 12.4 days
.Seahawks | J. Jones out for Week 11 (KFFL) Greg Johns, of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, reports Seattle Seahawks head coach Jim Mora said RB Julius Jones (lung) will not play in Week 11 but may be able to play in Week 12. 4 days
.Cedric Benson held out of practice (Rotoworld) Cedric Benson (hip) was held out of Bengals practice Wednesday. Analysis: However, coach Marvin Lewis stressed that Benson is "healing fast," and that he isn't ruled out for the team's Week 11 matchup at Oakland. If Benson can't play, Bernard Scott will start with Brian Leonard as the "change of pace."4 days
.Dwayne Bowe suspended four games (FFToolbox) Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe leads the team with 33 catches, including six catches for 91 yards last weekend in a win at Oakland. Unfortunately for him, the Chiefs and his fantasy owners, he won't have a chance to match that performance until week 15. Bowe has been suspended for four games for violating the NFL's policy against performance-enhancing substances. The team announced the suspension Tuesday and said it would have no further comment. "I know I have to work my way back up,” he said. I need to focus on it and let it get healed so I can hit the ground full speed." 65.Bowe used diuretics (TheHuddle) ESPN.com reports Kansas City Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe's four-game suspension has to do with his use of diuretics, and was trying to lose weight back in training camp, according to a source. Bowe will not be appealing the suspension. Analysis: Well now we know why he was suspended, although it obviously doesn't change anything. Since this one basically came out of the blue, it makes us wonder what other surprises may be lurking that will affect Fantasy rosters as leagues near their playoffs. The earliest Bowe could come back is Week 15. Normally we would recommend that you immediately jettison Bowe from... (More)5 days

.Benson admits he may not play this week (Rotoworld) Cedric Benson (hip) admits he might miss this week's game at Oakland, but he says there's no doubt he'll be able to play the week after against the Browns. Analysis: "It's not a major thing," Benson said. "It may take one week to get ready, but not two. Hopefully I'll be ready this Sunday." Benson also predicted that he's "running all the way to Miami and the Super Bowl" once the abductor strain finally heals. He added that he doesn't see Larry Johnson as any type of threat and welcomes the signing, as it will only make him work harder.5 days
.Terrell Owens (RotoWire) Owens' coach, Dick Jauron, has been fired by the Bills. Analysis: There's no word yet who the new coach will be, but we'd have to guess that Jauron's firing can only help Owens' drastically reduced fantasy value, as Jauron is too conservative and lacked the creativity to allow the passing game to shine in his system. This offense still needs more than just a new coach for Owens to start being more productive, mostly because the offensive line is a mess, but if you can pluck T.O. off the scrap heap for practically nothing either on the wire or via trade, at least it has a chance of paying off now.5 days
.Bowe suspended four games (FFChamps) Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe has been suspended four games for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing drugs. The announcement was made today via email from the league and the suspension will begin immediately. Analysis: You can stick a fork in the fantasy values of Bowe and Matt Cassel. 70.Bowe suspended four games (TheHuddle) The Kansas City Chiefs announced Tuesday, Nov. 17, that the National Football League has suspended WR Dwayne Bowe for four games for 'violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.' Bowe's suspension will begin immediately. Analysis: There's a surprise. Bowe hasn't exactly been a Fantasy stud, with only 466 yards and four TDs on the season, but he was at least a serviceable option most weeks. Chris Chambers now becomes the No. 1 receiver most likely, with Lance Long serving as the No. 2.5 days

.Dwayne Bowe (RotoWire) Bowe has been suspended four games for violating the league's performance enhancing drugs policy, Kent Babb of the KC Star reports. Analysis: This is a very tough break for Bowe owners, who will now be without the Chiefs' top wideout until Week 15. Bowe has averaged 8.8 fantasy points per game this season, ranking him 22nd among all NFL receivers. Look for Chris Chambers and Lance Long to see extra targets as the Chiefs' offense looks to get by without Bowe.5 days
.Dwayne Bowe suspended 4 games for PEDs (Rotoworld) NFL suspended Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe four games for violating the league's policy on performance enhancing substances. Analysis: The suspension begins immediately and will keep Bowe out until Week 15. Bowe reported to spring workouts 30 pounds overweight, and ESPN's Adam Schefter "gathers" that Bowe took a diuretic to shed the extra pounds. He spent much of the early season in coach Todd Haley's doghouse, and the suspension may alter the team's long-term plans for him. With Bowe returning in time for many fantasy playoff games, he's worth keeping on rosters.5 days
.Chiefs | Bowe suspended four games (KFFL) The Kansas City Chiefs announced Tuesday, Nov. 17, that the National Football League has suspended WR Dwayne Bowe for four games for "violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances." Bowe's suspension will begin immediately. 5 days
.Steelers | Parker to see action every third series (KFFL) Ed Bouchette, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, reports Pittsburgh Steelers RB Willie Parker will likely be utilized every third series at least on offense for the time being. "Get back to work every third series,'' Parker said of the plan. "I just have to do something." Parker said he is over his toe injury, although he will continue to wear the special Nike shoes built for him the rest of the season. "I'm ready to get on that field now. It's just a matter of time. I'm waiting patiently. I'm waiting and, when my time comes, my number is called, I have to make the best of it." 5 days
.Cedric Benson (RotoWire) Benson's injury is officially a sore abductor muscle, and he's iffy for Week 11's game against the Raiders, the Bengals' official site reports. Analysis: That the Bengals have officially signed Larry Johnson illustrates at the very least that they have depth concerns at running back.5 days
.Bengals reportedly sign Johnson (FFChamps) The Cincinnati Bengals signed free agent running back Larry Johnson to a one-year contract Tuesday morning, according to ESPN's John Clayton. There has been no official announcement yet from the team. Johnson was released by the Chiefs on November 9. Analysis: This looks like a done deal. Johnson might get a chance to play right away due to Cedric Benson's strained hip. With a chip on his shoulder and an offensive line good enough to make Benson look like a star there's a chance LJ could have a fantasy impact. The upcoming schedule (Raiders... (More)5 days
.Benson has a chance to play in Week 11 (TheHuddle) ESPN.com reports Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis said there is a chance RB Cedric Benson (hip) could play in Week 11. Benson is expected to be limited in practice this week. Analysis: Benson could be hearing the footsteps of both Bernard Scott and Larry Johnson, and will try and gut it out in a game he possibly otherwise would have sat out. Going forward, though, be cautious with Benson since he'll very likely lose carries to the other Cincinnati running backs.5 days

.Benson might play this week (FFChamps) Cincinnati Bengals running back Cedric Benson, who strained an abductor muscle in his hip on Sunday, will likely be limited in practice this week leading up to Sunday's game against the Raiders. "He has an opportunity this week," head coach Marvin Lewis told the team's web site on Monday. "We’ll be real cautious with him as we approach the game. If he’s not healthy, he would not go. Well see how he is as he goes through the week. Hopefully, he can make a comeback on this." Analysis: Benson probably has a 50/50 chance of playing as things stand right now, but be sure to ... 81.Cedric Benson likely to be game-time decision (FFToolbox) On a day in which all of the news coming out of Cincinnati focused on one running back the Bengals were gaining instead of the starter they already had, there was some news on running back Cedric Benson. Benson left Sunday's game against the Steelers in the first half. Benson's injury is being termed as a hip abductor strain, which he had suffered last week (he was limited in practice on Wednesday). Both head coach Marvin Lewis and Benson said that the injury was not considered serious and that his status for this week's game at Oakland could be a game-time decision. If Benson can't go, More)5 days
.Julius Jones unlikely to play in week 11 due to bruise (FFToolbox) There is good news and bad news surrounding Seattle Seahawks running back Julius Jones. The good news is that, contrary to previous reports, Jones didn't break a rib on Sunday; Rather he bruised a lung. Head coach Jim Mora said that Jones also might have a cracked rib. Jones did not travel with the team back from Arizona for precautionary reasons, but was schedule to return today. Mora said he spoke with Jones Monday, and that he was feeling better. 83.McGahee gets back to action in Week 10 (Rotoworld) Willis McGahee carried the ball 13 times for 35 yards in Week 10 after seeing zero touches last week. Analysis: McGahee saw many of his carries, along with Ray Rice, late in the game. Rice is clearly the featured back, but McGahee is fine with that. 84.Jones out of the hospital (FFChamps) Seahawks running back Julius Jones has been released from a Phoenix hospital, but is unlikely to play next Sunday against the Vikings according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. Jones sustained a cracked rib and bruised lung during this past Sunday's game against the Cardinals. Analysis: Jones is not a big fantasy loss, but this is a chance for Justin Forsett to give him the Wally Pipp treatment. Unfortunately, the Vikings defense is not easy to run the ball against, and Forsett does not exactly have prototypical feature back size (5-8, 19... (More)6 days
.Johnson to land in Cincy? (FFChamps) According to ESPN.com, sources "familiar with the negotiations" expect free agent running back Larry Johnson to sign with the Cincinnati Bengals sometime Monday evening. The 29 year old former all-pro was released by the Kansas City Chiefs last Monday, following a two-game suspension Johnson served for publically questioning the credentials of head coach Todd Haley, and using homophobic slurs during a post-game rant. Analysis: While Cedric Benson's hip flexor strain has left some doubt whether he will be able to go this Sunday aga... (More)6 days
.Julius Jones (RotoWire) Jones, who suffered a bruised long, is likely to miss at least Sunday's game at Minnesota, the Associated Press reports. "I would say it is unlikely that he would be cleared to play on Sunday," coach Jim Mora said. Analysis: Backup Justin Forsett ran for 123 yards on just 17 carries in Jones' place, so it's possible the Seahawks would have made a switch at running back even if Jones was able to play against the Vikings. Forsett is certainly worth a waiver wire claim if he's available.6 days
.Benson could be game-time decision @ OAK (Rotoworld) Both Cedric Benson (hip) and Bengals coach Marvin Lewis indicated Monday that Benson could be a game-time decision in Week 11. Analysis: Benson's injury is not serious, but he will be limited in practice this week. The hip injury is an "abductor strain" that Benson suffered in Week 9 and caused him to be limited heading into Sunday's tilt with the Steelers. The Bengals are adamant that Larry Johnson's addition doesn't mean Benson is in danger of sitting out. His ability to recover quickly will determine his status at Oakland.6 days

Mora also confirmed that Julius has a bruised lung and a potentially cracked rib. Forsett should rank high on waiver add lists this week.6 days
.Julius Jones (RotoWire) Jones suffered a bruised chest Sunday, not a broken rib as was initially suspected, the Seattle Times reports. Analysis: The bruised chest caused bleeding into Jones' lungs, but coach Jim Mora said Monday that Jones is expected to recover quickly. Even so, the Seahawks have little reason to opt for Jones the rest of the way over Justin Forsett, who rushed for 123 yards in relief duty Sunday. The team should take the opportunity to find out if the 5-8 Forsett can be an every down back.6 days
.Seahawks expect RB Jones to recover 'qui... (Rotoworld) Coach Jim Mora said Monday that Julius Jones does not have a broken rib, as initially feared, and the Seahawks expect him to recovery "quickly." Analysis: Mora, always overly optimistic about injuries, again put on rose-colored glasses when assessing Jones' status. "It's a bruise causing bleeding in his lungs," he said. "It doesn't appear...real serious. It's serious obviously or he wouldn't be in a hospital, but it's something he'll recover from quickly." Jones is questionable at best for Week 11, and we'd bet against him playing.6 days
.Bengals | L. Johnson would be backup (KFFL) Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis said free-agent RB Larry Johnson (Chiefs) would be used as a fourth running back if the team signs him. 94.Larry Johnson expected to sign with Bengals (FFToolbox) Nov. 16 Larry Johnson is apparently back on an NFL team. One week after being cut by the Kansas City Chiefs, Johnson has reportedly found a home with the Cincinnati Bengals. A deal, if consummated, is expected to be for the prorated league minimum. Johnson hasn't played since a week seven loss to the Chargers. Soon afterward, he questioned head coach Todd Haley's credibility and used a homosexual slur toward one of his followers on Twitter. The Chiefs then put Johnson on a two-week suspension and cut him on the day the suspension ended, Nov. 9. On 132 carries, Johnson is averaging a career-worst 2.7... (More)6 days
.Peyton Manning (RotoWire) Manning was 28-of-44 for 327 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's win over New England. Analysis: Manning threw two second half interceptions in a rare stretch of bad decisions, but rallied the Colts to score twice in the final three minutes to win the game. He'll face another tough game next week against Baltimore, but Manning looks set to have a historic season as he's on pace to break Dan Marino's 1984 record of 5,084 passing yards in a season.6 days

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports he has a broken rib, and ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting the injury has caused some bleeding in his lungs. He's a solid pickup this week as a replacement for Jones, who was not doing much anyways and will probably be sidelined for a while by his rib and lung maladies.6 days
.Terrell Owens (RotoWire) Owens (strained hip) had three catches for a season-high 85 yards in Sunday's loss to the Titans, but was shut out after the Bills' third play from scrimmage in the second half, The Buffalo News reports. Analysis: He also blew a gasket on the sidelines and showed up his quarterback on the field, something that hasn't happened too much this season even though Owens and the Bills are having a horrible season. Perhaps Vesuvius is about to erupt.6 days

.Cedric Benson leaves with hip flexor injury (FFToolbox) Cincinnati Bengals running back Cedric Benson has been one of the biggest surprises in fantasy football this season. Luckily, after suffering a hip flexor injury in week 10 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, it looks like it will be a surprise if he misses next week's game against the Oakland Raiders. Benson was pulled during the second quarter of Sunday's 18-12 win over Pittsburgh with a hip flexor strain, returned for one series, then left the game for good.
